ADNOC Abu Dhabi Marathon

With over 10,000 participants taking part in the inaugural ADNOC Abu Dhabi Marathon in 2018, numbers of runners are expected to be even higher at this year’s race as the event’s global profile continues to grow. The event will host four difference races of varying distances and aptitudes to appeal to runners of all abilities as well as first-timers and families.

2.5KM ‘Fun Run’Prices start at AED 50 for the family-friendly 2.5km fun run, with children under six able to take part for free.

5KM RaceFor members of the community ready to be part of one of the world’s great sporting events in their home town, the 5km race will is priced at AED 75.

10KM RaceRunners looking to challenge themselves, and beat their ‘personal best’ can take part in the 10km for 150 AED.

42.2KM MarathonWhether accomplishing a life-long ambition, or fulfilling a long-distance running hobby. Participants in the ADNOC Abu Dhabi Marathon will run alongside some of the world’s elite runners on a fast course, with ideal conditions on the shores of the Arabian Gulf. Priced at AED 350, participants whofinish in a podium position are eligible for an Age Group Prize Fund.

The prize fund-which is one of the world’s largest -totals over $388,000 and has been increased for all race categories in this year’s ADNOC Abu Dhabi Marathon. Headlining the event, male and female winners of the 42.2km marathon will takehome $100,000 each.
