Do your sightseeing at a run: Olympic Park, Leopoldstrasse, Siegestor, Königsplatz, Munich Pinakothek, English Garden, Chinese Tower, Bogenhausen Art Nouveau Villas, Munich Gasteig, Isar Bridge, Marienplatz, Bavarian State Opera, Residence, Odeonsplatz, Theatiner Church, Ludwigstrasse.
A new highlight of the optimized route 2019 is certainly the Viktualienmarkt, before the Olympic Stadium comes into sight. Goose pimples will appear for sure: In the large marathon gate, the runners are immersed in a scenario of fog, music and coloured light. For the last 300 metres, accompanied by the cheers of the spectators, you turn into the finishing line of the Olympic Stadium. G’schafft, as we say in Bavaria! And then what? Please smile! Because at MUNICH MARATHON everyone is a winner!
