Love Run 2025

The words “Love” and “Run” are powerful and meaningful. The love of running can mean both love for running and love found while running. Therefore, the name Love Run can be translated into Estonian in two ways: love of running or love of running. [Te neprot iztulkot atšķirību… oriģinālā ir armastuse jooks või armastan jooksu.]  Both are good and correct, because Marathon100 loves both running and runners.

Love Run 2025 will take place on Saturday, March 8, 2025 , when the spring love of running begins to sprout its first shoots. As the snow melts, you find your running shoes and exchange your winter hat for a beanie. You are already waiting for the moment when you can run on the asphalt without hindrance. March is the first month of the running spring, the most optimistic month of the year, when the day becomes longer than the night and light overcomes darkness. March is therefore a very good time for the first running event of spring.

The main distance of Love Run is 5 km , but there are also half marathon and marathon events planned . Chip timing is used for all of these distances.

The 5 km start is at 12:00 , the longer distances start at 10:00. The track is open for 21 or 42 km for six hours, or until 4:00 PM.

The Love Run trail is 7 km long and runs on an asphalt-covered easy-to-use gravel road between Järve Forest and Lake Ülemiste, with a beautiful pine forest on both sides. The edge of the road is hemmed with light gravel, so if you’re looking for a softer surface to run on, you can also run alongside the road. And of course, you can also walk on the Love Run! At your own comfortable pace.

All finishers will receive a super cool medal at the finish line , and we will also award the three fastest 5 km runners, as well as the three fastest male and female pairs. A running pair can also be formed specifically for the Love Run. It can consist of two friends, a father and daughter, a mother and son, a man and a woman. A Love Run pair can also consist of two girlfriends.

You don’t have to run with a partner and you can run alone. However, if you decide to run with someone, please write your partner’s name in the comments box when registering.

The top three men and women in the 5 km Love Run will be awarded cash prizes as follows: 1st place – 100 euros, 2nd place – 66 euros, 3rd place – 33 euros. Income tax will be deducted from the prize amount in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Estonia.

The Love Run children’s race is for preschool children, the distance is 300 meters, and there is no ranking at this distance. No child loses, everyone wins, because everyone receives the same medal after crossing the finish line as in the main distance.

Of course, Love Run also plans to include virtual distances , which can be completed between 1.02-2.03.

Love Run 2025 entry fees are :

5 km – until 31.12 17.77 euros, 1.1-2.3. 19.95 euros, 3.3-8.3. 25 euros.
5 km youth up to 14 years – until 31.12 12.95 euros, 1.1-2.3. 14.95 euros, 3.3-8.3 25 euros.
21 km – until 31.12 22.22 euros, 1.1-2.3 24.95 euros, 3.3-8.3 30 euros.
42 km – until 31.12 22.22 euros, 1.1-2.3 29.95 euros, 3.3-8.3 40 euros
Untimed children’s race (0-7 years old) – until 2.3. 7.77 euros, 3.3-8.3 10 euros.

The first Love Run took place in 2024 and runners gave it a score of 4.92 on a five-point scale. 270 runners-walkers participated in the first Love Run, of whom 118 started on the lake and 152 on virtual distances.
