Due to the Corona pandemic and government restrictions Bergen City Marathon is postponed to Saturday 29th of August. Time schedule is unchanged.

 

Welcome to Fjordkraft Bergen City Marathon (FBCM), which will be held on Saturday, 25th of April 29th of August 2020.  This is the 9th year that the FCBM will be held. It is a fantastic run with a beautiful and inspiring course. Experience the atmosphere at the start and finish lines at Bryggen in Bergen, run through Gamle Bergen (Old Bergen), and enjoy the amazing view from Fjellveien. The course also continues along the beautiful walkway around Store Lungegårdsvann. You will be met by a buzzing crowd as you run through Nygårdsparken.   This is where the 5km run starts. Narrow streets and charming wooden houses at Nordnes lead you further on to Nordnesparken. This is where the Kids Run starts. You will now be ready to take the final leg back to Bryggen. It will be a wonderful experience for you to compete in a running event close to the city centre.

    Status Fjordkraft Bergen City Marathon – Coronavirus.
    

    Norwegian authorities prohibit sporting events and organized sports activities both indoors and outdoors. This is valid until Thursday 26 March 2020 at. 24:00, but can be extended.
    

    Our race is scheduled to be arranged 1 month after this; on April 25.
    
So far, our race has not been cancelled. We are monitoring the situation closely and will re-evaluate on March 27.
    
We also consider other possibilities. Many races around the world have been postponed this fall. It is also an option for us.
